I bought an old compaq from the local market only cost me 10.00 pound it has windows 95 on it it would not boot up due to several missinfiles vdx files i think i had an option to create a boot up isk/recovery disk so i created one using a floppy disk not i have tryed to boot up and the computer keeps on asking for the A:\ with the disk in/ booting up without the floppy its juts completely blank now

and thats where it stops i cannot boot up to windows how can i re-install or re-format this thing or is it a bin job it would have been handy or all my wifes document using word etc thats all was not planningto use it formuch any ideas?
