I experience a lag when I play games like Counter Strike on my laptop. I am set up on a wireless connection, and it is the only reason why I would be lagging; HOWEVER, the first 2 months or so of having my wireless internet connected to my laptop, I did NOT have this lag. Was this just something inevitable, or is something else the leading cause?

That is a good question I never use wireless for my gaming. However as it was working and now isn't I'd look to other causes. Mainly background irems that may be using bandwidth or other systems in your home network. I'd some kids visiting and whenever they are on myspace the bandwidth usages kill my games. File sharing is another killer of bandwidth, got any kids that might be messing around on another system in your home network?
