I got curious...so i installed Ubuntu onto a separate hard drive and WOW

Hoping everything goes well...i am impressed so far...everything seems to run faster and smoother here.

Anything special I need to know about using this?

reading some other posts, i have seen some problems with booting xp from a separate hard drive.

hope i'm lucky

You're more daring than me buddy, so I am afraid I can't say. Efabes likes Debian. Maybe he knows something about Ubuntu.

hey dash...long time no talk...how you been?

I am loving it....i was expecting to be going back and forth from xp to linux all day...but i have been having fun figuring out the workings of this...it is shockingly simple and secure

there are probably some things that i will still need windows for...but i haven't found them yet...maybe watching tv on SopCast...not sure if i can do that here yet...anyways...good hearing from ya

BTW
how's married life?
