Hello, don't know if someone could tell me what I should do? My house mate has the main computer in our house and the router excetera, another computer is also connected but a previous housemate set up a password on the network which neither of the other house mates know.

I moved in reccently and the network is password protected but nonne knows the password, I have this random long code of letters and numbers - over 20 charactersb but that doesn't work when my computer requests the network key, I don't know what we can do short of setting up a new network which we don't know how to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

When you say "password on the network" what do you mean? When do you have to enter a password?

Are you talking about when you logon to your ISP? If you are, phone your ISP support.

It sounds like his Local Area Network (intranet) is password protected, but hopefully we will find out.
