I need a Firewall as my Trend Micro Internet Security Suite (I don't care for Suites) 2007 won't allow the Firewall to activate. This came about when Trend Micro had the new improved (forced) upgrade from 2006 to the newer (crap for me) 2007. The Anti virus works as well as the other security features. But I am tired of the M$ Firewall with no out going protection. So I have D/L the Free ZA 7.0 and am looking at the Sunbelt (former Kerio) Personnel Firewall with a reduced price of $10.00 see here. maybe the reduced price speaks for itself? Please anyone with the pros and cons.

I use the Sunbelt. Works good for me.
You can use the trial and when it expires, it will stay with less functions, but still very usable.

Thanks ken. Then I will just buy it as they have throught WXP Newsletter for $10.00. I'm just hoping it isn't DigitalRiver D/L. I would rather have the Disk. But this Trend Micro is useless as a Firewall which is part of the suite. Best Buy put it on. But the 2006 worked great. They have been having plenty of problems with the 2007 Suite. And I have read (it is a matter of opinion) that Anti Virus/Firewall and more Suites are not worth it, period... I believe it.

All done. No pain. lol. And it works with Trend Micro's Anti Virus. I had Kerio on my older XP PC. It worked well then.
Note for anyone buying a new PC/Laptop. Don' allow the store to place what Firewall/Anti Virus they are pushing that month. Just say NO and turn to leave, they want the sale so they will give you seperate Firewall and Antivirus. Internet Security Suites are not worth the cost IMHO. And I get several security newsletters that formed the opinion for me. Plus the problems I have with Trend Micro Internet Security Suite 2007.
Again thank you ken.
