Hey all, nearly finished with my setup now, just more water cooling to add (Need to do CPU)

If you would like to have a look go HERE

Let me know what you think ^^ thumb up.gif

Looks like it shall keep you happy for a while.

Why did you decide to go water cooling though? was it for silence? though the blower fans would defeat that purpose along with the fans on the ram, just to try? overclocking? though the water cooling doesn't look like it was meant for overclocking.
Just interested to know compute.gif

No, the reason was due to one my GFX cards;

The second one I purchased had a problem with the fan, and was running at about 80 degrees, for me, that was way to hot (these cards are actually tested to 120 though)

The second one ran at around 60, according to the SLi forums that was about average...

So rather than RMA the card I thought it would be quicker to throw something together.

I have reduced both cards to 54 degrees on load so far!

On Friday I am changing the whole cooling system, in place for a dual pump, dual radiator and dual reservoirs...

I am planning to have two systems, one cooling the CPU, and the other cooling the GPU's

Parts are going to cost about £236 so far I think cry.gif

Ran the new Bioshock demo yesterday, averaged 80FPS, maxed at 112 so I was pritty impressed!
3Dmark06 score is now 11k with the new drivers released on Monday, so it's looking good so far!

When I have got it all set up Friday afternoon I will post some more pics of the 'finished' thing, maybe also
some more benchmarks because with the new system I am hoping to over clock the cards for the first time.

At the moment the AM2 6000+ is clocked 3% and its stable, maybe I can take that to 4 - 6 %, I think the most people where getting is 3.5GHZ so if I can reach that I will be happy, then it's time to play with the GFX a bit and see if I can reach 12k (maybe 13k ??) in 3Dmark06, I will keep you posted!!
