Full Version: Disk Defragment Issue [chkdsk /r]

Hey guys I looked up disk defragment issue topic and I know what to do when it says: it has been aborted due to inconsistencies.....
I have two drives and when i run chkdsk /r it only scans drive c...i want to scan drive D because thats where the error occurs and if anybody has any answers please reply as sooon as possible and if possible also email me at jornelle@sbcglobal.net if i dont come on the forums.

From a CMD prompt type: D: (and hit enter)

This should change you to the drive. Then type the chkdsk command.

CHKDSK D: /R when done from the Recovery Console.

CHKDSK D: /F when done from the Desktop, Command Prompt.

If you don't designate the drive, C: is assumed.
