hello.gif Hya Friends at SAF

I've just had a stick of 512MB DDR-333MHz - CL2.5 SDRAM (PC2700U-25330) given to me (Lucky guy!). Will this work in my system?

Mobo: Asus A7V266-E FSB:DRAM 1:1

Memory (3 DIMM Slots)
Installed 2x 256MB DDR
Frequency 134.3MHz
CAS latency 2.5

CPU Athlon
Core Speed 1544.7 MHz
Bus Speed 134.2MHz
Rated FSB 268.8MHz

Well, you could say "Try It" but the bandage on my finger hinders things a bit! Anyway, I'm just interested to know for now.

Many thanks for your comments.

Bill.

Yes, that should work. It actually is a faster RAM than what your board will handle, but it will just run at the slower speed. Your board has a max of 266FSB and this stick has a 333FSB.
