Help - i'm a bit thick. I run windows XP Home Edition but some pictures that i try to download from the internet do not appear - Where they should appear there is just a little white box in the top left hand corner with a red cross in it. Any suggestions to cure this would be most appreciated.

This is happening when you go to the website to see them right?

You can link to the site so we can see if it's the site owner's problem.

It can also be something on your end. Have you cleaned up your temp files? You can do this through IE - Tools - Internet Options - Delete Files. While there, set your TIF folder size lower. In that same window it says Settings. Drag the scroll left or hit the down arrows. I set mine really low which most people don't. But you can try something like 500-1500 mb. Before you click ok, make sure you check that it's set to "automatically" look for newer pages.

Also, depending on what type of image it is it could be a setting issue....Which brings me back to, can we get a link to the site. Probably something quite small.
