Hi, my friend has windows 98 and they bought new speakers. These are durabrand and they are used through a USB port. They are not working with the computer and i'm guessing it is because the computer doesn't have plug and play drivers or something. I get this message when i go to the plug and play under device manager "hardware version not available".

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? Do i need to download a driver somehwere... and if so, where? Thank you for any help!

The speakers should have come with drivers "if" they're suppost to be able to work on Win98.

Look on the makers web site.
