I had a bright IDEA after reading some where that you can get rid of those little arrows on your shortcut icons. followed the instructions and rebooted---- Spybot sent these little messages forever! arovax shield did the same, Locked me out of Iexplorer. had to do a system restore. The tweak didn't work. I'm wondering if you have to turn off all shields (most likely) but then will it flip out when you turn them back on...? Also the little messages mentioned something about nero?????.exe as well as the registry change I made... I never messed with Nero in the registry.

Since you didn't which tweak, which Operating System or what the little messages said it's pretty hard to comment...

If you're running XP, you can get TweakUI which has an option to remove the arrows....

Of course, what was I thinking, that you guys have ESP, I love this site but I don't think your that good...LOL I deleted the IS_SHORTCUT from the registry like instructed but the programs that moniter the reg fliped out like they probably should.. The message said (a change in the registry may be harmful permit or block). You'll have to excuse me I'm new at this... BUT it's so much fun.. smile.gif Unfortunately I'm probably making life hard on you guys. I'm sure you don't mind --- Thats why you do it right? Anyway, XP home edition with service pack 2... I did a system restore and all is good... I will have to try something free as far as tweak programs go... Thanks for the link?
