Hello everyone

(WIN XP PRO)

I previously had some problems booting my pc and a technician advised me to change my hard disk which i did.
I though having lost everything and kept my old samsung 120 GB disk in a drawer for 6 months.

I recently bought an external hard disk drive and thought of trying my old hard disk. To my surprise , my pc can read my old disk.

However because i had a password protected user account on my prrvious wondows ( XP Pro), access to my folders are denied to me.

1. Can anybody help me to have my files back , and ooops , i never created recovery disks or whatever its called for lost passwords.

2. I went to My computer>>manage>>storage>>disk management>>my old hard disk. My both partitions are there and it says "healthy". Are there any softwares that can analyze the disk to find potential problems.

Thank you for your time

Hi Shakeel,

Sorry, but it's against our Rules and Guidelines to help with passwords. I have to close this topic.
