im thinking of getting a wireless router how far can a wireless router travel or does it find a host of another router is my ip address safe if i go out town with a laptop just wanting to know i ask the people at best buys and circuit city they want to sell one more than me give answer

Depends on what the signal has to go though, antenna type and etc. Drive around in your neighborhood and see how many sources you pick up to login !!

AVG is a very good product, many use it here on this forum as I do.
