i have another problem. running windows 98 and all of my icons on my toolbar look fussy, like it does when you run your pc in safe mode. even pic on my home page look a little fussy. i can't think of what you mite need to know,so if you can just let me know what you need to know about my computer i will gladly let you know.--THANKS A LOT............

Go into Disply Properties and change the Color Quality.

THANKS, steve r jones---- i've tryed this many times and it does not help. i've tryed color change ane pixel change. i used spyware blaster to restore system to a snapshot point. i have run anti virus software. spybot search and destory, i have deleted cookies and temp files.well this is all i've tryed. ANY THING ELES YOU CAN THINK OF ?????

Have you tried the original video driver that came with your system? Maybe an application updated your driver to one that is not fully compatible. Or maybe something corrupted your video driver. It would be best to reinstall the one that was working for you previously (whether you have it on disc or download it-try driverguide.com if you dont have a disc).

Does your monitor come with a driver?

thanks for your help ( steve r jones)--(efabes) thinks r back to normal. fonts got set to large. reset back to small and every thing is ok.------THANKS FOR RESPONDING. i do not know what i would do without suggest a fix.

Thankyou for the followup. "Font size" is something I will keep in mind next time I hear a similar description. Others looking for a solution will see it as well.

Sorry we missed the cause. Sometimes it is the most obvious things that ya dont see or think of.
