Could anyone tell me why I have this (detected with Winpatrol as I veiwed info) Symantec NetDetect installed when I have none of there utilites (as far as I know on my machine. When I bought it I told Best Buy to take all Symantec products off the machine as well as all AOL items. So my question is do I need it?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help. It goes.
I was reading my paid version of Window Secrets, and they suggest (based upon several other popular magazines and C-Net and a few others INTERNET sites) that Zone Alarm Internet Suite and Symantec Internet suite are the most popular and better utilities for the PC.
Have I missed something. Both of these business when I last checked and used both products were having problems and could not keep up with the Tech Support because of the problems they created with their improved updates/versions? Now I am referring to about 2 years ago.
I know Zone Alarm Firewall (paid version) was giving me many headaches. And I had gotten Internet Security from Symantec and it slowed my machine down once I re-booted. So I removed it and trashed it.
Anyone know where I can get info on the best firewall suite to use today? yes I tried to google for more help but have gotten noplace so far.
