When I log in, the task bar shows I have a new message. Sooo, I click to my mailbox/PM and there ar not any. Whaddup?

If I send you a PM and then delete it before you read it, the board may still indicate that you have a PM even though it's no longer there.

We had this recently on a phpBB board where a member was sent a PM, and they received an email advising that a new PM had arrived, but when they went to check there was no PM. It turned out that the sender had deleted their message before it had been received.

Go to your inbox and see what it says - see if it indicates that you have unread messages when in fact you have read them all.
