banghead.gif hi all I dont know if I am in the right place to ask about my prob but here goes. I recently finished buildind a new pc I fired it up today and when I tried to install the o/s the message ...cannot find specified h/d came up I checked the bios and cimos settings but am a little unsure of settings everything seems to work ok .
the motherboard is a gigabyte s series...with dualcore 2 processor....ddr2 1gb memory...nvidia geforce 7300 gt graphics card..and other bits of tech....but dispite all the tech on board I have set it up wrong because the system cannot find the hard-drive its driving me nuts any help guys / gals would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance

Do you have the HD's power cable connected as well as the IDE or SATA cable?
