Hi I am trying to setup Remote Desktop Web Connection. I have downloaded software an run setup to install the activeX control and sample web page. I checked allow users to connect remotely to this computer, I also forwarded two ports on my router 3389 the one remote desk top needs and the one I specified in the TCP Port field in IIS I also opened this port in firewall. I have not had any success in connecting to my pc I have tested it by opening IE on my other pc and typing http://ipaddress:port/tsweb/ but have not been able to connect. I am not sure what I am missing here but any help would be appreciated Thanks Ted confused.gif

Sorry for being a bit backwards, but are you using the Remote Assistance feature in XP, or a 3rd party program ?

Thanks Anyway.

I've not heard of that either.
Although, for remote connections ore remote controlling connections, I recommend VNC - www.vnc.com

hope it helps.
