Hi again,
In control panel go to the Add/Remove Programs icon and scroll down it and delete every program that has anything to do with your printer. You may have to restart your computer when you finish. Then you can reinstall your printer or all-in-one.

Maybe someone else could help us who knows a little more than I do. I do not know error messages. I know that I should learn what the more common ones mean.

Don't connect the printer, what ever till the software completes installation.
Jeannie
boomer6, you are welcome. busterb is right. Whatever you do, don't connect the printer til the software completes the installation or it won't install correctly.

I`m up and running.

Glad you were able to get up and running. Could you let us know what you did?? This will help others, when they do a search on this kind of problem.

Thanks a bunch,

Lorraine

I went to the HP link you provided and downloaded the software from there for the 2410.I finally did as busterb said...Not hooking up printer until the download is installed. It worked when I tried doing the reinstall this way.
