Has anyone else had this problem??

When I go to a Topics, it has the little red box next to the title, saying 'Goto Last Unread' when you put your mouse pointer over it, well it doesn't take me to the last unread reply, it takes me to almost a whole page before the last read reply. It mostly happens when I close out of SAF, and come back on. Like this morning, when I clicked on the box, it took me to about 5 to 10 replies before the last reply, and they were ones I had already read. I have even used the 'Mark all posts as read' button, but it didn't help. It happens on all the Forums here.

I'm not sure when it happened, it's been a couple weeks that I have noticed it.

I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed it. SS below..

Hi Lorraine..I just tested it out and it takes me to the last reply, but I am using Firefox and not IE7.

To me, it takes me to the last "unread" post, not to the last "post"... if there are several posts after the last I've read, it takes me to the first unread one as I can read the followings... I guess this is the normal way it have to work. rolleyes.gif

Using CrazyBrowser under IE6 engine.

Thanks Marcia, and Chris..

Chris, that's the way it should be, but for me it takes me way above, to posts that I have already read a few times before. It's no biggie, but it sure was a nice feature.

Maybe because of some cookie not being updated ?

compute.gif Cool Lorraine,

I never used the little orange/red box before, I usually click on last unread reply on the right side next to a name.

I glad you like it Webster biggrin.gif That's why I put it in here with a screen shot, I'm sure there are others that don't know about this.

Thanks Chris, Jim had told me I should remove my cookie for the board, for something else I was having problem with. I will try it with this one also and see if it works.
Marcia
Keep the chocolate chip cookie, Lorraine...as they are very tasty...almost as good as oatmeal raisin. biggrin.gif

Oh I did, Marcia, especially the oatmeal raisin, and I like nuts in mine yes.gif

Well, so far so good, thumb up.gif We'll see in a couple days how it goes.

Anyone needing to delete their Board Cookie for some reason.....Make sure you know your username, and password, you won't be able to get back on with out them, and you'll have to re-register compute.gif

Jim, to you reply in the other thread, I removed the cookie, and things are working just fine again. thumb up.gif

Boy!! my cookie sure gets messed up a lot, this is the third time in less then a year, although I shouldn't complain, just glad that's all I have to do. laugh.gif
