Here is what I have on Irfanview if it comes through. It didn't come but I have a pic of a beagle (I think) puppy in Irfanview. I posted it as my new avatar but how do I get the pic from Irfanview back to where it is supposed to be? There is thumbnail of it and the pic in Irfanview. I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose this pic. Help!!!!!

Jeannie, I don't understand what you are saying. You must have the puppy somewhere in your "My Pictures" folder in order to open him in Irfanview. Now just because you posted him as an Avatar does not mean he is "gone" from your hard drive (your "My Pictures" folder). I'm not sure I am seeing why you think you've "lost" the image. Where did you put him when you first snagged him from the Internet?

Edit .......... And if you did "lose" him, just snag him back again from where you posted him (post #25) in your "Jeannie's Pictures" thread on this forum.

Mrs. Bond,

What I was trying to say was this:

Before I posted the puppy as an avatar he was in Irfanview and after I posted the puppy as an avatar, he was still in Irfanview even after I closed out Irfanview. What I was asking was how to get the puppy to leave Irfanview and go back to the My Pictures folder. However, this seems to have resolved itself as the puppy is in the My Pictures folder and he's also my new avatar as well. Thanks for replying.
