I want to enlarge the C: drive on a harddisk by eliminating the D: drive there (and move its data to another disk)
I use WIN98 why not the Partition Manager will do the job.

Have you any suggestion which program(s) to use for this one time event? EASEUS Partition Manger can do?

Although I personally never used it, I've heard good things about Ranish Partition Manager out there... I guess it worths a try.
