Geee Lorraine. eek5.gif This is why I couldn't decide to use any wireless stuff (I was a class A -10,15,20 meters telegraphy skilled- radio amateur - ex PY2RZ, PY2-RRN - and know we can intercept a lot of things using radio waves, such as some cell phones and wireless microphones)...

The weird thing on this article is that the user itself sets its system to the hacker's network.

As wireless is the future of the world connectivity, we'll have to be very cautious with those new technologies.

Well I found the artical usefull and thank you Lorraine for the warning with answers for my XP and future Vista OS.
There are other steps you can take to make sure you don't accidentally connect to an ad hoc network created by a scamster. For example, you can make sure that XP never connects to an ad hoc network. To do it:

Click the wireless icon in the System Tray.
Click "Change advanced settings."
Select the Wireless Networks tab.
Click "Advanced."
On the screen that appears (pictured in the nearby figure), select "Access point (infrastructure) networks only."
Click Close, and keep clicking OK until the dialog boxes disappear.
Note: If a wireless icon isn't displayed in your System Tray, you can get to your wireless connection by clicking on Start, going to Settings, then Control Panel and then Network Connections. Then double-click on the wireless connection icon to bring up the panel that displays the "Change advanced settings" link. An alternate path on some systems might be Start --> Control Panel --> Network and Internet Connections --> Network Connections, then double-click on the wireless network connection icon.

Thanks for the info Sky. I just hope if they ever catch these hackers, they get what's coming to them.
