hi, yea i have had this computer for some time now, i was using 1 gig of ram 1024 to be exact ect ect.
anyway today i wanted to install another gig so i decided to do so. anyway after getting the gig i relized i would have to move around my hardware including my hard drive cords and my video card in order to get to my memory slots, after doing so and getting the memory in, it all checks out only one problem. every time i boot it up after it post the motherboard logo (P4P800-E Deluxe) it does all the checks n evrything
then it says "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert boot media in selected device and press a key.

i have tried everything from pluggin my hard drive in every diffrent cord imaginable, to even re formatting my hard drive when it asks to put in the boot media, i set it to CD rom then i put in my pirate windows cd, i choose to delete the partion and create windows on that, after its done it starts up and says the same error, ive done this multiple times hoping it would change somthing, anyway i need help, and yes i have my device priority being the CD rom first so i know its not that, please help guys im really lost with all this

thanks.

The fact your using a Pirate Windows CD isn't going to instill much confidence in us RE its ability to do anything useful.

I would suggest getting a legal copy of Windows.

In the BIOS Screen, does it show the Hard Drive as detected?
Tekai
yea its detected, nevermind guys, i guess a computer problem isnt a problem if you dont have a legal copy now days.... like as if my computer didnt come with it already.
