dear,

I have been member of some diffirent forums. In general dating forums. So thoose forums deal with emations and personal realated mathers.

As I saw that Anglo saxon forums are quiet dominant in that part of the buisiness I would like to know if some serious guidance are avaiable and if they are screened and if abusses from their moderators could be adressed somewhere?

Zorozoro, please don't post email addresses into public Internet forums as it makes them very easy pickings for the spambots. You'll be flooded by a deluge of spam sooner or later, and unfortunately spamming has been on the increase in recent months.

I'm not sure how much can be done to a moderator or admin that is "abusive" if it's a privately held board. Unless they are doing something illegal, they are very much like a dictator in that what they say goes. Now if this is a public company things might be different. You'd have higher ups to go to. But in the world of a privately held board on the internet, if the mods are the problem there's not much else you can do I don't believe.

Usually, issues with moderators would have to be addressed privately with the moderator in question using the board's Private Message (PM) system.

If this fails, then maybe contact a board administrator. Should that also fail (because, for instance, the administrator sides with the out-of-line moderator), then it's time to move on to a different forum.

One of the qualities of a good moderator is that he/she is able to listen, especially on a board of the kind you are referring to. Anyone who is not capable of seeing all sides of the story and responding in an adult manner should not have the post.

It may be that the mod you are talking about has his/her own issues, and is "projecting" them onto other members - it's the job of the other mods and board admins to detect this, and pull them to one side so to speak, suggesting that maybe they get help.

I know .... easier said than done .... especially when the Internet is so anonymous ..... if it was me, I'm not certain how I'd take another person whom I'd never met telling me to "get help" ..... so extreme caution and sensitivity is required, along with a presentation of the facts.
