For anyone who is into music such as Clannad, Enya, and Moya Brennan, I've just discovered a new Irish band this past few days called Trinití.
I bought the album after seeing that the tracklisting contained a Clannad and a Moya Brennan number as well as well-known favourites such as Scarborough Fair.
The second track is called Voices, and when I heard it, I thought it sounded very much like the music that flowed through the film The Beach. Sooooooo ..... did a bit of Googling, and it is the same track, albeit performed by a different artist and arranged differently.
It must have been 2 or 3 years ago at least since I saw that film on DVD, and I only saw it the once.
Isn't it interesting how a passage of music can get "lodged" into your brain such that you recognise it from nowhere years later?
