I used this Firefox addon with pleasure for 6 months. Then I and people to whom I had used it to send pages to started getting repeats of past messages. I don't know if this a virus (by me?in the JKN.com server?) just some foulup in the server of JKN (the sponsor of AWM) I have now received 32 copies of- re:500,00 images and 30 copies of- re: scrabble. Both items I forwarded months ago. I run XP Home fully patched w/windows firewall activated, AVG & PrevxHome and weekly scan with Ewido, AdAware and Spybot. I have been to two on line sites to run scans . All clean. And they keep on coming. JKN hasn't responded to my messages. Any thoughts from anybody? When they first came I opened one or two inside Sandboxie just to see what they were and quickly warned my friend to delete. Would be glad to hear ideas. Nimrod

Just to be at the safe side and rule out some kind of baddie/virus, can you please do the following ?:

- Download and run CrapCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/
Note: in CCleaner: go to <options/advanced> Uncheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours").

- Run updated versions of Spybot S&D and AdAware SE (one at a time), cleaning all that may be listed.

(remember to update databases before scanning)

- Perform an online virus scan from http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan
Post the log it generates on your next reply.
