I just went wireless with the at&t promo for the elite service plan with a max of 6.0 mbps. And was wondering which usb adapter to buy? confused.gif The router they sent is made by 2wire, and is model 2700HG.

Hi, welcome to SAF!

Just check the AT&T website, which states your router has "HyperG" wireless. I have nevr heard of that before, but a little investigating on the site found this :-

"HyperG and 802.11g are 802.11b compatible."

and this :-

"All wireless gateway models are Wi-Fi Certified."

Therefore, I would say that any USB WiFi device will work. The one i have on one of the PCs here is a "Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adaptor". And from the info above, it should work.
