Hey all,

well, im posting this from my new (well, by new i mean second hand, P3 900Mhz, 128mb ram, upped to 384mb, 12Gb hd, 8mb S3 video) laptop. Nothing special you may say, but this is my first fully Linux system, no dual booting.

Due to the limited specs of the lappy, my Ubuntu forays didnt get of the ground, but i got myself a copy of Dead Small Linux (well, its not called Dead, but you know:))

Its pretty good!! newbie friendly enough to get me started, but not so cuddly that i dont actualy know how things work. got my WPC54G Wireless PCMCIA card working, from boot, (almost) all by myself!! lol well, im pleased.

So yeah, now you all know! hehe

You now have a light, speedy and secure system. I'm still messing around with Ubuntu but it's somehow hard. laugh.gif
