I require some help or advice or even both would be better, in trying to fix my bloody wireless.

My laptop cannot connect itself with my home network. When I run a ipconfig /all test it doesnt even give me an IP address. I have a D-Link G604T router which is attached to a p.c. this can access the internet fine. I have another laptop which connects to the network fine through wireless.

I am so computer illiterate when it comes to a problem like this so any help would be great.
