Hi all, I am just about to connect my laptop to the internet.
I have a router to install on my main one and also a Wireless notebook adapter for the laptop.
Firstly my broadband connection is cable but with a USB/Ethernet series converter, I assume I have to take off the converter to fit into the router, I know it sounds silly but I have no idea about this at all.
Then follow instructions in the book?
Plus connect the Notebook Adapter to my laptop.
Then I would like to know how to keep my laptop, unseen and secure. In simple jargon please, thanks for reading.

What do you mean by a converter? A modem?
