Re: Network 2 computers to 1 monitor

The above named post refers to devices that can connect two pcs to use one computer. I have heard people say that if I do this there will be a loss of signal. If I do this, how adversely will it affect my main computers performance, and will it slow my router performance. I am not planning to link the router up to the other pc. Thanks in advance.

I think you are talking about KVM switchers!

I use an old analogue style one and see no loss in performance. I have used the newer ones also and seen no loss of sigal quality. you can pick one up for around £20.00 if you want to give it a whirle.
