Greetings,

How would I go about networking 2 computers to 1 monitor?
I got a new computer, but would still like to use my old one on occasion.
My space is limited, so they need to be close, and I want to use the new monitor only.
I would rather not just swap in the old hard drives.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks.gif

Well, my friend used to tell me that you need something like two graphic cards or something, and your motherboard must be able to support it? Not very sure though.

Just a little suggestion, maybe someone can back me up?

Hey Hong En.

Not entirely with u there, i think that set up is req'd to have 1 pc going to a dual monitor layout.

I'd use a KVM Switch. One Monitor, Mouse and keyboard for two pc's...

Greetings,
I bought the KVM switch as suggested, it works fine to hook up my 2 computers to 1 monitor.
My problem is it works fine for a wired mouse and keyboard, BUT I want to use my new wireless mouse and keyboard. How do I do that? There is no usb plug on the KVM only 2 ps/2 and if I bought an adapter for the mouse and keyboard, where do I plug in the usb? I have only 1 usb plug for both wireless mouse and keyboard coming from the receiver. Any suggestions? cry.gif

You really needed to get a USB KVM switch....You can try an adaptor and might get lucky..
