I have a PC that I am using for a desktop/server.

It has 2 drives - 1=30GB 1=80GB

I setup apache web server on it and can access my files on local Intranet by:

http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1

THE PROBLEM:

I have this setup behind a D-Link 604 Router. I have configured port forwarding to forward the port 80 traffic to the desktop/server.

I thought I had everything set perfectly, but when you type my IP address(which is dynamic, but updates via: zoneedit.com) it shows the notorious 404 message.

What am I doing wrong? I really need to know, because my site is down this whole time.

More PC/Network info can be posted i just need someone who knows what their talking about........
