Hi All,

Please help. My PC keeps shutting down by itself. I suspect this might be due to a virus action, so I tried running some anti-virus tools such as Avast, AVG, etc. but the system would not allow them to finish running before it shuts down again, and again. I have checked the power cable and can confirm that there is no problem in that area.

What is more worring is that when I booot up the system again, it does not check the hard drive for defects or errors. It starts off as if it had been properly shut down before. This makes me feel that what ever causes it to shut down has done so in an ordrely manner.

I have run HijackThis and pasted the report below. Please check it and advise me what to do.
