Full Version: 3Com Switch Default gateway
I have a 3Com 4900 switch, and I added a default gateway under "route". I would like to remove this gateway now and I can't. I tried under add/edit routes, could not do it there, also tried to change it to 0.0.0.0, with no luck. Has anyone ever had this issue before? Software is 4.0

In theory, there is no reason you can't remove the default gateway you set... There is a 3Com quick reference guide at the address below (it's a .pdf file) http://support.3com.com/infodeli/tools/swi...1770-0aaa04.pdf
If you can't find the proper answer in there, you may try to reset it at its factory defaults (as explained on this guide), just take care to write the current settings before doing it.
Maybe some other members with knowledge in 3Com switches may add something here...
