Hi, I have been searching for the answer to my problem, whenever I leave my pc for a while it locks up. When doing a cntrl alt delete, I always see ddhelp (not responding). I have to re-boot to get it going again. any suggestions ?

Here's a site that I found about ddhelp.From what I read it is an important program for your OS . Maybe it is corrupt but this site may help. As a user of Windows Me (probably other systems have the same problems) I occasionally have to just shut down and boot up again. I understand your frustration . Hope this is of some help to you..

Reinstalling DirectX may solve the problem

I have had the same problem. Found that the best way to fix it with me is to do a repair install within windows. you may have to reinstall direct x if you are using the lastest,also if you are using internet explorer 6.0 sp1 you will have to reinstall it too. Most everything else stays intact. hope this helps.
