yeah, does anyone know how to fix this problem: my computer will not play wmv types of video isthere a type pf software i can download to watch it?

This is a Windows media Player file. It may work normally if Windows Media Player is properly installed (and not corrupted). You can reinstall WMP9 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...oad/default.asp
