Hi folks,

Can someone tell me if it possible to add RAM to ME O/S

Im currently on 128RAM and plan to increase it but someone told me I cant go above 128 on ME

Hi Alan...that someone is talking through his hat. Windows 98 and ME can handle up to 2GB of RAM.

I ran Windows 95 with 512MB.

Windows Me did have a problem where it only recognized the first 512mb of memory (if more than 512 was installed). I do not know if any work-a-rounds actually worked (edit) but you are safe up to 512mb.

Yes, my PC was ME O/S and I upgraded it to 512MB with no problem!

You should look at your Hardware only!
