Case modding or Case modification is the modification of a computer chassis (often just referred to as the case). Modifying a computer in any non-standard way is considered a case mod. Many people, particulary hardware enthusiasts use case mods to illustrate a computer's power, and for aesthetic purposes.

In others words, is the art of modification of the external computer body, with lights, extra fans and colored cables...

We've considered additional forums, but decided that we have almost too many now that has made the board seem a bit 'cluttered', but I changed the PC Tweaking and OverClocking forum to include modifications in its description.
