On the computer that has Adobe CS on it the file has been saved as a .etch file, I don't know how.
It won't open with CS now, I have taken it to another computer and it just calls it a .psd file now I tried to use IrfanView to open it and this is what it does

I don't know what was done to the picture to cause this; I would appreciate it if anyone knows how I can restore it so it can be opened.

If I rename it a .jpeg this is what IrfanView does.

If I click yes it just brings up the first image above.

.etch is an unknown file extension to me, but, reading Adobe stuff out there, it appears that it's capable to prepare files for "etching", or use on a metal plate wax printer, like PlateMaker 4. rolleyes.gif
