Recently, (I think within the past couple weeks?) Flash programs just stopped working altogether on my computer. I've tried downloading the most recent version of macromedia flash player as that has been mentioned as a possibility, yet to no avail. I tried uninstalling and using a slightly older version, still no dice.

Where the Flash would normally be displayed, all I get is a black area.

Any ideas?

Hi Mjkthiiz,

As a first thought, if the problem starts recently, you may try a system restore.

Check your browser <Internet Options/programs tab/Manage add-ons> (or something like this, as my OS is Brazilian Portuguese) if Flash add-ons are activated, as seen on image below.

You may also browse the Flash Player faqs from http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledg...7&mode=advanced

Aha, I part-way figured it out. I believe it is an issue with Firefox, as I decided to try the the same stuff on Internet Explorer.

Ah, I'm not sure why or when this happened BUT it was because one of the extensions to Firefox. Ad Block has to have a specific option changed: in particular OBJ-TAB has to be un[B]-checked in order for the flash to work.

Thanks lol.gif
