I have BeelSouth DSL Westell modem right, how do I disconnect the router? I want to play this online game and I want to know and when im done I want to reconnect it, can anyone tell me how?

Shut down your pc. Your modem line should be going into the WAN port on the router. Disconnect that one. Then take the one that goes to your computer's network card and connect it directly to the modem. Start the pc. XP/2K should be fine. Others may need some work.
