I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how much of ones cap does skype consume?

Is there a certain rate like 1mb/minute or something like that

Good question... newer think on that, but, as skype works fine on a dial-up connection, I think it will not consume so much.

The same question can be asked about MSN and similars.

No, not really... 3 to 16 kbps during call, depending on codec used will not hurt.

Well it works out cheaper than SMS's anyway
