[B] I have a PC with an AOL broadband , I am buying a laptop. How can I still use the laptop and the PC with the same AOL account?

Hi Milly,

What do you pretend... sharing the connection with the PC (using both to browse the net) or switch between PC and Laptop (one at a time) ?

Note that some broadband providers may not let you share your PC connection without paying additional fees... switching between the two computers just plugging the cable will not be a problem. You'd better ask AOL support before rolleyes.gif (or wait for other members advice)

Hi chris

What I would like to do is use both at the same time, the problem is , is that the rest of the house hold will be using the PC but I will be using the laptop and we all use the internet frequently, can you use 2 computers on the same account?

Yes, I use 6 of them, 3 PCs and 3 Laps +an old (13 years) Pentium 2 400 which only connects to my broadband account and share this connection with the others.

This will only depends on how AOL manage this kind of broadband sharing... normally, they won't see that there are more computers hooked, as they shares the same bandwidth, but I've seen some cases where this is not allowed. biggrin.gif
