I HAVE GOT AN XP SETUP WHICH I TRIED TO LOAD ON MY PC WHICH HAS A 1.7GHz AMD ATHLON PROCESSOR AND AMD MOTHERBOARD.RAM IS 512MB.
IT IS TAKING ALMOST 30-36HOURS TO LOAD AND EVEN AFTER THAT THE PC RUNS REAL SLOW.
I DON KNOW WHERE THE PROBLEM LIES.I BOUGHT A NEW HARD DISK SEAGATE 80GB AND TRIES TO LOAD XP ON IT BUT THE RESULT WAS SIMILAR.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM?

From where have you got it ? Is it an official distribution or a pirate XP disk ?

This is definitely weird...
Sounds like your XP setup disk is corrupted or the whole system has a big hardware problem or is badly infected. Was your computer working before ?
