I switched on computer as usual this morning and the screen just said no signal - the computer started as usual but no video seems to be going to the screen.

Tried with different screen but same problem so it's not the monitor - nothing has been changed - is there something wrong with the video card ??? Does it sound like i need a new one ??

Help me

Thanks

Hi Toria, welcome to SAF

Your videocard may have died. Check all the cables between computer and monitor, including the power cord. (I think you has done it if you tried other monitor on it)

Open the case, remove the videocard and clean its contacts with a soft white rubber. Re-seat it.

If it does not work, you'll have to try another videocard.
If other vc does not work, your PSU may be the culprit.
