Hi... I am curious to know what the differents are with sockets ? Is it just a different model styles ? It fits differently inside the case ? I mean you have 370 , 478 , 604 , 754 , 939/940 Is one better then the other ? Thanks on any input ...

Hi TerryFox, welcome to SAF

Sockets and slots depends on what processor you want to use... there are no bad or better sockets, but bad or better processors, depending on the user's choice.

Hi ... Thanks for the welcome and those links , Much appreciate ... I am looking for the 478 socket , Its been working pretty good for me in the past , So I'm thinking to stick with it ....

Thanks for that too but I am now waiting to recieve my new board by mail , Its a Aopen AX4SG-UN Socket 478 Motherboard (A457-2034 )
