I was wondering when someone is banned can they still see the board and post?

I think he can view them as any other guest, but can no longer post anything.

I'm sure that's right Chris. and being band, I don't think they can sign up again.

A banned member cannot use the search function or any functions that require him/her to login, but as a guest can view open/public forums. The catch here is the degree of the banning. A banned IP means they get a portion of the forum, basically just the topic banner and an error message. Then they can't see forums at all.

What about if they have a dynamic IPs and or use proxys. I guess for someone to be banned they would have to be a very rude/ignorant person.
I know you could have some fun if they know what there doing with proxys,
