Hi Sporty,

Some things I grabbed from the net about this printer...
QUOTE
Pros: Affordable, easy to operate
Cons: printing on glossy paper causes lines and smears

This printer is great for text and small images, but if you try to print enlarged images you notice streaks in the printing. It does not print well on glossy photo paper.

As you can see, printing on glossy paper is not recommended... sad.gif

There are three general types of transfer paper. The correct one depends on what you want to do. Here are the names / general descriptions to get you started:

1. Heat transfer papers are run through a printer or copier to pick up the photographic image. The paper is then laid on to of the substrate (a t-shirt maybe) and the image is then transferred to the substrate using an iron or a heat press.

2. Waterslide papers with the photograph printed or copied onto them are cut out and immersed in water so the image releases from the base paper. The image is then applied to the substrate and fired.

3. Magnetic papers are run through an inkjet printer and are used to make items such as refrigerator magnets.

Hi sporty, wavey.gif

What you're trying to do, could be quite expensive to do yourself, like putting pictures on a mug and or cup. There are some places that will do this for you, not sure what the price would be.

You can ask at a local printing shop, maybe they could give you some advice.

I thought I saw something like this in a kit at a office supply store like Office Max, I'm not sure, but I know I saw a kit for transferring pictures on a T shirt, and for this you would need transfer paper. (This should come in the kit)

Check out some of your local Office Supply stores, and Printing shop. there might even be some stores around your area, maybe in a Shopping Mall, that will do this.

EDIT: Sorry efabes, I didn't see your post, I was just going to put in a link about all the transferring, but you already said it. biggrin.gif
